Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Master Scheduler to develop and execute the master production schedule, aligning customer demand with inventory targets, capacity, and supply chain capabilities. This role serves as a vital link between Supply Chain, Operations and Manufacturing to drive schedule stability and improve service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain planning, or manufacturing operations.
• 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3 years’ experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
• 3 years’ experience supporting S&OP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on customer demand forecasts, sales orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
• Create short- and long-term production plans to ensure optimal resource utilization.
• Monitor schedule adherence and adjust production plans to address changing business requirements.
• Analyze production constraints and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks.
• Evaluate demand fluctuations and translate requirements into executable production schedules.
• Collaborate with Materials Managers to develop statistical approaches to inventory planning
• Interpret PFEP data to recommend inventory targets for raw materials.
• Conduct capacity analysis to identify resource constraints and bottlenecks.
• Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings and represent site requirements.
• Track and report KPIs, including: Schedule attainment, Schedule Adherence, Factory On-time delivery, Past dues
• Drive improvements in planning processes, scheduling accuracy, and inventory optimization.
