Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in supply chain, operations, or related field.
• 5+ years in production planning, master scheduling, or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Experience leading planners, schedulers, or production control personnel.
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and planning processes.
• Experience developing and managing a Master Production Schedule.
• Knowledge of capacity planning, inventory management, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on demand, forecasts, inventory, capacity, and priorities.
• Translate customer requirements and forecasts into feasible production plans.
• Balance capacity, labor, equipment, materials, and due dates.
• Establish production priorities and sequencing to maximize throughput and minimize changes.
• Monitor the plan and adjust for shortages, downtime, and capacity constraints.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels to support on-time delivery and minimize excess.
