Job summary

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support pursuits from strategy through proposal preparation to client presentations. This role collaborates with operations groups and project managers to win work in a deadline-driven environment.

The successful candidate will work primarily with Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Adobe Photoshop, and must hold a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications required.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Adobe Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations to determine strategy when responding to RFQ/RFP.
• Develop relevant proposal materials (firm profile, resumes, project sheets, etc.).
• Edit content to ensure quality, readability and accuracy.
• Transform text-heavy narratives into visual/graphical responses for proposals.
• Prepare teams for client presentations.
• Perform market research.
