Job summary

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company seeks a motivated Marketing Assistant to support pursuit activities from strategy through proposal preparation and client presentations.

You will collaborate with operations, project managers, and senior leaders to help win work in a deadline-driven environment. Bachelor’s in Marketing or Communications is required, with proficiency in InDesign, Office 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), and Photoshop. Some travel (1–3 days) may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications is required.
• Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office 365 including PowerPoint, Word and Excel, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Entry-level position with ability to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with operations to determine best strategy in responding to an RFQ / RFP.
• Developing relevant proposal materials (firm profile, resumes, project sheets, etc.).
• Editing content to ensure quality, readability, etc.
• Transforming text-heavy narratives into visual/graphical responses.
• Preparing teams for client presentations.
• Performing market research.
