COUNTRY Financial is offering a Marketing Strategic Intern role that supports our Marketing Field Support and Strategic Marketing Teams. You'll help answer marketing questions, advise reps on tactics, and contribute to projects that build our brand, generate leads, and referrals locally and at corporate level.

The program runs May–Aug 2027 with potential extended hours into fall 2027/spring 2028. You’ll gain mentorship, networking, and professional development while learning from senior leaders.

About the role

The Strategic Marketing Intern will help support our Marketing Field Support and Strategic Marketing Teams. Strategic Marketing is responsible for marketing to, through, and for our reps - as we look to build our brand, generate leads and referrals for our reps both hyper locally and at the corporate level. Work includes supporting our reps in answering marketing related questions, consulting them on marketing tactics, and supporting the team and division in project work relevant to the role.

Application Timeline

We know waiting can be difficult, so we want to set expectations upfront. Our internship recruiting process takes place over several months. Applications open in mid-September and are reviewed as they are received. HR interviews are expected to begin in mid-October, followed by interviews with hiring leaders. Depending on the role and applicant volume, hiring decisions and offers may be made anytime from October through January. We appreciate your patience throughout the process and will communicate updates as they become available.

Work Location & Schedule

COUNTRY is headquartered in Bloomington, IL and our corporate internship program follows a hybrid schedule. If you're based at our Bloomington, IL corporate office, you'll enjoy a hybrid work schedule - three days in the office and two days working remote. For roles posted as remote, candidates who live more than 50 miles from Bloomington, IL may qualify for a fully remote arrangement.
