Job summary

COUNTRY Financial offers an internship program that provides real-world exposure to the financial services industry. You will research financial products, evaluate investment and insurance offerings, and support initiatives that help advisors better serve their clients. Interns may pursue the SIE exam with study support and mentorship.

You’ll gain hands-on experience, work with industry tools, and engage in networking opportunities while collaborating with experienced leaders across the company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in finance or a related field.
• Must be able to work full-time hours from late May 2027 to early August 2027.
• Graduation date of August 2027 or beyond.
• Basic understanding of financial concepts such as investment products, insurance, and market trends.
• Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to detail when working with product data and documentation.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with team members and present findings clearly.
• Organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment.

About the role

Join our Product Support team and gain firsthand experience within the financial services industry. In this role, you’ll research financial products, learn to evaluate investment and insurance offerings, and support initiatives that help advisors better serve their clients. You’ll have the opportunity to work with industry tools such as Morningstar, collaborate with experienced team members, and participate in projects that provide practical business experience. Interns may also choose to pursue the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam during the internship, with access to study resources and team support, providing an additional opportunity for professional development.

Application Timeline:

We know waiting can be difficult, so we want to set expectations upfront. Our internship recruiting process takes place over several months. Applications open in mid-September and are reviewed as they are received. HR interviews are expected to begin in mid-October, followed by interviews with hiring leaders. Depending on the role and applicant volume, hiring decisions and offers may be made anytime from October through January. We appreciate your patience throughout the process and will communicate updates as they become available.

COUNTRY is headquartered in Bloomington, IL and our corporate internship program follows a hybrid schedule. If you're based at our Bloomington, IL corporate office, you'll enjoy a hybrid work schedule - three days in the office and two days working remotely. For roles posted as remote, candidates who live more than 50 miles from Bloomington, IL may qualify for a fully remote arrangement.
