White & Case LLP in New York seeks a Marketing & BD Management and Strategy leader to partner with the CMO on day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives. This role drives cross-functional programs, aligns firm strategy with marketing and business development, and guides talent, governance, and communications across the function.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, coordinate events, and socialise the transformation of the M&BD function to strengthen client growth and market presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and ~8 years in chief of staff/marketing, BD, or communications.
• Experience delivering strategic and operational activities within a professional services environment.
• Familiarity with Marketing & BD disciplines (pitching, client planning, market positioning, brand and comms).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and teams to deliver quality results.
• Strong commercial awareness, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the CMO and senior leadership in developing and delivering the Marketing & BD 2028 strategy.
• Maintain strategic roadmaps and create off-the-shelf strategy documents for presentations.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams and ensure timely delivery with clear governance.
• Lead relationships with external industry groups (e.g., IBA) and internal leadership.
• Oversee communication materials, town halls, and senior leadership updates to drive alignment.
• Support events and sponsorship planning to maximize ROI and engagement.
