Job summary

White & Case LLP is seeking a Manager, Business Development for the Americas Debt Finance Regional Section, based in New York. You will drive client development, market positioning, and brand recognition across domestic and international markets.

You will collaborate with partners and lawyers to implement strategic BD initiatives, design client action plans, and manage marketing collateral and thought leadership. The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and excellence in communications.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• 6+ years' experience in a law firm or professional services firm, with demonstrable responsibility for a team.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in building pitches, proposals, capability statements, and presentation materials.
• Private Equity/Capital Markets/Corporate/Banking/Debt Finance/Restructuring & Insolvency experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of marketing plans and initiatives for the Debt Finance pillar groups.
• Prepare domestic and cross-border pitches, proposals, and capability statements.
• Develop marketing collateral, including presentations, experience statements, and bios.
• Maintain CRM data and central pitch materials; support BD activities and reporting.
• Plan and manage Debt Finance client events and sponsorships.
