Job summary
Henkel is seeking a technically skilled engineer for the Adhesive Technologies business unit in the United States. You will serve as a technical expert across market segments, working with Sales, Marketing, Product Development and Application Engineering to translate customer needs into innovative adhesive, sealant, and coating solutions.
You will develop deep knowledge of customer processes and guide technology strategies while leading evaluations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
- Experience in application engineering, technical service, product development, manufacturing, or customer-facing technical roles in industrial/chemical markets.
- Ability to influence across functions by connecting market insights, technology and business objectives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for multiple organizational levels.
- Experience in customer-facing technical roles is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical expert for assigned market segments, identifying trends, customer challenges, and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with customers, Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Application Engineering to translate needs into solutions and business opportunities.
- Develop deep understanding of customer processes and performance requirements to guide technology and product strategies.
- Lead evaluations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept activities to show value of ACM solutions.
- Generate market insights through customer visits, industry engagement, and competitive analysis.
- Support new product introductions and commercialization by validating performance and alignment to customer needs.
- Build and share application expertise and market intelligence across regional and global teams.
- Represent Henkel at customer events, industry conferences, and technical forums.
