Job summary

Henkel Adhesive Technologies seeks a technically minded customer-facing professional in Illinois to drive product recommendations, customized applications, and demonstrations for customers. Responsibilities

  • Provide product recommendations, customized applications, demonstrations and troubleshooting for customers.
  • Consult customers on solutions that generate value for their use cases.
  • Perform technical visits (meetings, audits, demos, troubleshooting) with documentation in the CRM and LIM systems.
  • Work with application equipment to enhance customer adhesive-related processes.
  • Leverage customer feedback to drive optimization in customer service and identify new business opportunities for sales colleagues.
  • Report quality issues and customer claims to the relevant parts of the organization (CCMS/CAPRIS).
  • Drive customer experience by optimizing automated and remote interactions.
  • Identify opportunities to create customer value in remote settings using AR/VR tools.
  • May supervise laboratory work for samples from customers and report results to customers.
  • Train and coach field sales forces and customers on product applications and technical subjects.
  • Promote internally SBU innovations and cross-account learnings with sales/marketing/PD.

What you’ll do
  • Responsible for product recommendations, customized products applications, new product demonstrations and troubleshooting for customers
  • Consult customers on solutions generating value for their use cases
  • Perform technical visits (meetings, audits, demonstrations, troubleshooting, etc.) for customers with documentation in the CRM tool and the LIM system

  • May supervise the laboratory work (incl. prioritization) for samples coming from customers, and report technical results to customers
  • Responsible for products application / technical training and coaching of field sales forces and customers
  • Responsible for directly communicating with sales, marketing, PD, Innovation, members of TCS field team or project team members Promote internally SBU innovations and best learnings cross accounts

The salary range for this role is $65,000.00 and $75,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
