Henkel in Connecticut is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer within Adhesive Technologies to lead cross-functional technical initiatives for customer applications in North America. You will oversee product launches, manage complaints, and develop new applications with close collaboration across Sales, KAM, and R&D teams.
The role requires a strong technical background in electrical engineering, electronics, and materials science, with up to 50% travel domestically.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience with adhesives, coatings, or related technologies is preferred.
- Domestic travel up to 50% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deploy cross functional teams to execute technical strategy at customers.
- Drive product launches, manage complaints, and develop new applications across Sales, Key Account Management, BD, and R&D.
- Lead PD and innovation projects addressing portfolio gaps with KPI applications.
- Develop standards and methods for markets and applications new to Henkel.
- Own North American projects and coordinate with global teams for cross regional development and commercialization.
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure safety protocols; train staff and run, train, and maintain lab facilities.
- Provide AE support to drive growth and address unmet needs with Sales.
- Support BD and Marketing to achieve financial targets.
