Job summary

Cubic Corporation is seeking a BOM planning specialist to support MPS loading and BOM data integrity in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will analyze Clear to Build data, address material gaps, and coach planners on delays, collaborating with Ops, Procurement, Sourcing, Quality, and Facilities.

The role requires strong SAP production planning and Excel skills, plus two years of related experience and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• High School graduation or GED with at least two years of related experience.
• Experience in Customer Service or a business environment is desirable, especially in Field Service, Customer Service and/or Inventory Control.
• Proficiency in SAP and Excel is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Understands date maintenance as it pertains to MPS Loading and Attainment.
• Thoroughly understands BOM structure including BOM levels, assemblies, phantoms, bulk materials, and storage locations.
• Analyze Clear to Build data and identify material gaps for risk mitigation.
• Coach planners/buyers on delays affecting PO/PR execution.
• Participate in manufacturing cross-functional teams (Ops, Procurement, Sourcing, Quality, Facilities).
• Engage with Engineering on ECO disposition, minimize trapped inventory, and OBS issues.
• Support initial NPI BOM setup and MRP as a key partner in NPI processes.
• Active participant in SIOP and supply reconciliation processes.
• Engage in demand management and revenue planning activities.
• Understand core SAP production planning and inventory management modules.
