Job summary

First Citizens Bank, a SVB division, seeks a Managing Director in Investor Coverage and Business Development to build strategic relationships with premier venture capital firms in Life Science Healthcare. The role is hybrid and based in Boston, NYC, or the Bay Area.

You will lead cross-functional teams, provide strategic guidance to investors and internal stakeholders, and help scale SVB's platform across venture communities while upholding the bank's reputation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in VC relationship management.
• High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in VC relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute high-level strategies for establishing and maintaining consultative relationships with top-tier VC/CVC firms.
• Oversee high-level engagements with VCs, guiding discussions on portfolio companies and ensuring seamless communication between the Relationship team and VCs.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration and organizational leadership to align VCRM strategies with broader goals.
• Mentor a team of relationship managers and specialists; develop performance standards and training.
