Job summary
Guidehouse is seeking a Managed Care Contracting and Performance Advisor to lead strategic management, evaluation, and negotiation of managed care contracts across hospital and physician services.
You will partner with Finance, Revenue Cycle, Operations, Physician Services, and payer organizations to optimize reimbursement, monitor performance, and drive revenue opportunities while ensuring contract compliance and risk mitigation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher with 6–8+ years of relevant experience in healthcare contracting.
- Experience in managed care, payer relations, or revenue cycle is required.
- Strong financial modeling, contract interpretation, and risk assessment skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead evaluation and analysis of managed care contracts to optimize reimbursement and reduce risk.
- Develop strategic negotiation plans with payers and manage implementation and performance monitoring.
- Create contract summaries and operational guidelines to support cross‑functional teams.
- Monitor performance indicators, analyze denial trends, and drive revenue improvement.
- Identify new payer contracting opportunities and support value‑based care initiatives.
