Job summary

Jobgether, acting on behalf of a partner company in the United States, seeks a Managed Care Contracting and Performance Advisor. You will drive contracting strategies to optimize reimbursement, support complex negotiations, and translate terms into actionable operational improvements.

You will collaborate with Finance, Revenue Cycle, Operations, and payer partners to improve contract performance and revenue yield through data-driven recommendations and innovative payment models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6–8 years of relevant professional experience, or an associate degree with 8–10 years of experience.
• Experience in healthcare provider organizations, managed care, contracting, or revenue cycle.
• Experience reviewing, evaluating, or negotiating healthcare agreements, preferably with commercial insurers and government plans.
• Experience with financial analyses, modeling, and reimbursement evaluations to support contracting decisions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate managed care contracts and identify opportunities for improved reimbursement and terms.
• Build financial models and assess impact of rate changes and new payer arrangements.
• Interpret contract language to identify financial and operational implications and risks.
• Develop contracting strategies and executive-level recommendations.
• Support payer negotiations and develop data-supported counterproposals.
• Monitor contract performance with KPIs related to reimbursement and revenue yield.
• Coordinate contract implementation with Finance, Revenue Cycle, Operations and Physician Services.
