Sterling Engineering is seeking an Account Executive – Major Accounts to expand its Energy & Infrastructure division. You will identify and secure opportunities with large organizations, building strategic relationships and delivering staffing solutions to complex engineering and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in managing major accounts or outside sales.
• Proven ability to develop new business and manage strategic accounts.
• Experience building relationships with senior decision-makers.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop Major Accounts: identify, prospect, and secure new business with large organizations in energy, utilities, engineering, and infrastructure.
• Build Strategic Relationships: partner with executives and leaders to ensure client satisfaction and long-term engagement.
• Drive New Business: create target lists, execute account strategies, and generate opportunities.
• Manage Complex Sales Cycles: navigate multiple stakeholders and approval processes for new clients.
• Deliver Workforce Solutions: coordinate staffing solutions (contract, contract-to-hire, direct-hire) with recruiting teams.
• Lead Business Development Activities: network, attend events, and conduct client visits to generate opportunities.
• Negotiate & Close: present staffing solutions and finalize service agreements with key accounts.
• Collaborate With Leadership: align growth plans with divisional leadership.
