Job summary

National Gypsum Company seeks a Maintenance Scheduler/Planner to optimize maintenance activities, plan resources, and minimize downtime across facilities and equipment. The role reports to the maintenance manager and requires coordinating with operations, vendors, and technicians to implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering or technical studies, solid CMMS experience, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

Must have maintenance scheduling or planning experience.
Strong knowledge of maintenance principles and CMMS tooling.
Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask.
Clear communication and negotiation skills with technicians and stakeholders.
Ability to travel (5%).

Responsibilities

Develop maintenance plans in collaboration with maintenance teams and stakeholders.
Create and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Process and review work orders with accurate instructions and estimates.
Develop and manage maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
Coordinate with procurement for parts and inventory planning.
Document maintenance activities and report on performance metrics.
Identify opportunities for process improvement.
