Job summary

Air Liquide Advanced Materials in Fremont, CA is seeking a Maintenance Planner to plan, schedule, and coordinate all maintenance activities. You will build robust, audit-ready plans, manage backlogs, and coordinate shutdowns with production planning to minimize disruption.

The role requires a strong background in maintenance with 5+ years experience or a 2+ year Bachelor’s degree, plus CMMS exposure (SAP/Maximo/eMaint) and proficiency in Google Workspace.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with more than 5 years of maintenance experience or Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Strong spoken and written communication, internal & external customer service, and organizational skills.
• Excellent working knowledge of Google Office Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• CMMS experience with SAP, Maximo, or eMaint a plus
• Microsoft Projects experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance work management best practices by reviewing all new work requests, generating work orders, designating priority, and providing initial estimates for backlog determination.
• Plan each work order with detail to enable safe and efficient execution.
• Generate a weekly schedule using available man-hours and prioritize work.
• Coordinate shutdowns by aligning with production planning to minimize impact.
• Manage backlogs and maintain alignment with safety stock levels and PM schedules.
