Job summary

TAS Energy, a Houston, TX-based company, is seeking a Maintenance Planner to organize and schedule work for facilities and equipment with minimal production impact. You will monitor KPIs to guide preventative and predictive maintenance decisions and coordinate MRO purchases and vendor quotes.

Successful candidate will have 3+ years in maintenance scheduling, CMMS knowledge, strong English communication, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of maintenance coordination, facilities, or industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years in maintenance scheduling and planning.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment, facility systems, and preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizing tasks and allocating resources efficiently.
• Coordinating preventative maintenance, repairs, and operational activities.
• Monitoring deadlines, milestones and completion dates.
• Accommodate changes for emergency work order needs.
• Communicating timelines and expectations to supervisor/director.
• Tracking progress and resolving scheduling conflicts.
• Ensuring Parts, materials, equipment and resources are available as needed.
• Review and prioritize maintenance work orders.
• Purchase maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies, equipment, tools, and spare parts.
• Obtain quotes from vendors and compare pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Create and process purchase orders.
• Ensure purchases comply with company policies and budgets.
• Expedite orders to meet urgent maintenance needs.
• Track purchase orders from start to finish and ensure timely deliveries.
• Verify received materials match purchase orders and quality standards.
