Job summary

TAS Energy Inc. seeks an experienced Maintenance Scheduler to plan, organize, and schedule maintenance for facilities and equipment, minimizing production impact. You will monitor KPIs to advise preventative and predictive maintenance decisions and support scheduling with parts, tools, and production plans.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking to improve department performance and may involve coordinating with TAS Management and suppliers. Houston-based, on-site work.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years coordinating maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years in maintenance scheduling and planning.
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment, facility systems, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • 3 years of CMMS knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritizing tasks and allocating resources efficiently.
  • Coordinating preventative maintenance, repairs, and operational activities.
  • Monitoring deadlines, milestones and completion dates.
  • Accommodate changes for emergency work order needs.
  • Communicating timelines and expectations to supervisor/director.
  • Tracking progress and resolving scheduling conflicts.
  • Ensuring Parts, materials, equipment and resources are available as needed.
  • Review and prioritize maintenance work orders.
  • Purchase maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies, equipment, tools, and spare parts.
  • Obtain quotes from vendors and compare pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
  • Create and process purchase orders.
  • Ensure purchases comply with company policies and budgets.
  • Expedite orders to meet urgent maintenance needs.
  • Track purchase orders from start to finish and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Verify received materials match purchase orders and quality standards.
  • Other duties as assigned by TAS Management.
