Job summary

TAS Energy Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler/Coordinator in Houston, TX. The role focuses on planning and scheduling maintenance for facilities and equipment to minimize production downtime.

You will monitor KPIs and support both maintenance and facilities with work orders and material availability. Responsibilities include prioritizing tasks, coordinating preventive maintenance, tracking progress, and expediting purchases while ensuring compliance with budgets and policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance coordination, facilities, or industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years in maintenance scheduling and planning.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment, facility systems, and preventive maintenance programs.
• 3 years CMMS knowledge (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prioritizing tasks and allocating resources efficiently.
• Coordinating preventative maintenance, repairs, and operational activities.
• Monitoring deadlines, milestones and completion dates.
• Accommodate changes for emergency work order needs.
• Communicating timelines and expectations to supervisor/director.
• Tracking progress and resolving scheduling conflicts.
• Ensuring parts, materials, equipment and resources are available as needed.
• Review and prioritize maintenance work orders.
• Purchase maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies, equipment, tools, and spare parts.
• Obtain quotes from vendors and compare pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Create and process purchase orders.
• Ensure purchases comply with company policies and budgets.
• Expedite orders to meet urgent maintenance needs.
• Track purchase orders from start to finish and ensure timely deliveries.
• Verify received materials match purchase orders and quality standards.
