Opti Staffing Group partners with a global leader in controlled environments to support semiconductor, microelectronics, pharma, and life-science industries. The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler role focuses on building and managing maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize uptime in a high-precision manufacturing setting.

Working onsite in Hillsboro, OR, you will coordinate trades, manage spare parts, and leverage Maximo and SAP to improve reliability.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or coordination within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Hands-on experience working within CMMS/EAM systems (Maximo strongly preferred).
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP MES a plus).
  • Strong understanding of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and asset information.
  • Experience managing spare parts inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and scheduling meetings across departments.
  • Analyze data and performance metrics to improve processes and reduce downtime.
  • Communicate upcoming maintenance and factory impacts to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.

MPS - Maintenance Planner / Scheduler

  • DIRECT HIRE**

Location: Hillsboro, OR

Pay: $65,000 - $80,000 DOE

Schedule: Monday - Friday | Full-Time

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Planner / Scheduler, you will be the backbone of maintenance operations - ensuring work is planned, scheduled, and executed efficiently to minimize downtime and maximize performance.

  • Build and manage daily and long-term maintenance schedules
  • Coordinate work orders, ensuring all labor, materials, and tools are accounted for
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and technicians to prioritize and execute maintenance work
  • Adjust schedules in real time based on urgent needs and shifting priorities

What You Need To Have
  • Proven experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or coordination within a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Formal training in planning and scheduling methodologies
