Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to develop and optimize maintenance planning and scheduling systems across operations. This role drives work orders, backlog management, and schedule compliance while maintaining safe operations and regulatory readiness.

You will work across Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Production, Contractors, and Stores/MRO to ensure efficient planning and execution.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with three years Journeyman or equivalent in mechanical/electrical engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical engineering or related with focus on logistics/reliability preferred
• 10+ years of combined experience in industrial maintenance planning

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, corrective, shutdown, outage, and improvement work for production equipment
• Build complete job packages with scope, labor, parts, safety, drawings, and downtime estimates
• Develop and maintain a weekly maintenance schedule with labor loading and priorities
• Coordinate planning with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Production, Contractors, and Stores/MRO
