Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a maintenance planner in Fremont, CA to schedule and coordinate maintenance activities across operations, maintenance, engineering and contractors. The role plans future work to reduce delays and maximize wrench time, ensuring resources are available with lead time for effective execution.

You will publish weekly plans, assess resources, and update the CMMS while driving improvements to the preventative maintenance program based on activity results.

Qualifications

• AS/AA degree in engineering, maintenance or related discipline; progressive experience in industrial setting.
• Minimum of 4 years of manufacturing experience.
• ERP experience (Oracle / SAP).

Responsibilities

• Publishes a weekly list of approved and planned maintenance work.
• Develops equipment efficiency and expected life span.
• Reviews equipment history on approved corrective work orders.
• Identifies repeat failures and resolves with operations, maintenance and engineering.
• Updates CMMS to ensure adequate preventative maintenance.
