Job summary

Envases Commerce, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Planner for our Waco, TX-area facility. You will plan and prepare maintenance work, ensuring scoping, materials, permits, and resources are ready for execution to maximize OEE.

The role requires 3–5 years in industrial maintenance and 2+ years in planning/scheduling within a high-speed environment. Proficiency with CMMS and blueprints is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years in a maintenance planning or scheduling role in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Review maintenance work requests and convert to detailed work orders with safety and production impact in mind.
• Conduct field walk-downs to determine scope, labor hours, tools, and safety risks.
• Identify and reserve spare parts and materials; initiate non-stock purchases as needed.
• Create standardized job plans and procedures for repeat tasks.
• Develop weekly/daily schedules coordinating with production to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate internal technicians and external contractors with proper skill sets.
• Prepare permits and safety documentation before scheduling work.
• Manage backlog and ensure timely prioritization and scheduling.
• Maintain CMMS data integrity for equipment records, BOMs, and job histories.
• Track KPIs like schedule compliance and wrench time to drive improvements.
