Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings seeks a Senior Industrial Maintenance Planner to lead maintenance planning across all plants, mentor planners, and standardize processes. The role requires hands‑on CMMS oversight, capital spares management, and travel to multiple sites.

The ideal candidate brings 5–8 years in maintenance planning, 2 years in manufacturing contexts like injection molding or extrusion, and strong leadership. This is an onsite role in Wichita Falls, TX with significant travel.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling (manufacturing preferred).
• 2 years’ experience in injection molding, extrusion, production, or manufacturing.
• Leadership or mentoring experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows‑based software (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
• Fiix CMMS experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of equipment reliability and maintenance best practices.
• Inventory management experience for critical and capital spares.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Passport required (can obtain after hire).
• Onsite role; daily commute to Wichita Falls, TX facility.

Responsibilities

• Mentor Planner/Schedulers across Westlake Pipe & Fittings plants.
• Collaborate with the Reliability Manager to standardize planning processes.
• Maintain process maps, policies, and training materials for planners and plant leadership.
• Travel to each plant at least once per year for hands‑on support and review.
• Oversee Capital Spares inventory in alignment with reliability goals.
• Ensure CMMS work orders include labor, materials, and notes, with root‑cause analysis where appropriate.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production downtime and PMs.
• Act as Master CMMS Administrator for Pipe & Fittings and provide onsite support.
