Job summary

Fermilab is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to provide planning and scheduling services to operations maintenance and utility engineering groups within the FESS Facility Management group. This role will be focused on providing necessary logistical support in executing maintenance work across the site.

Onsite at Batavia, the position requires an Associate’s Degree in Facilities Management and 5+ years of planning/scheduling experience, with Proficiency in CMMS (FAMIS) and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in facilities management or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in planning/scheduling.
• Experience with CMMS and coordinating maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop work plans based on site needs and scheduling priorities.
• Coordinate parts and materials with stores and vendors.
• Update FAMIS CMMS with work orders and equipment records.
• Interface with building managers and technicians to align plans.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
