The successful candidate will lead capacity forecasting, monitor performance during peak periods like Open Enrollment, and collaborate with multiple teams to sustain service levels and reduce MIPS

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IBM mainframe environments including z/OS.
• 5+ years capacity planning and performance engineering.
• 3+ years analyzing utilization trends and forecasting.
• 3+ years using mainframe monitoring tools to resolve bottlenecks.
• 2+ years advanced Excel reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize enterprise mainframe resource utilization and performance.
• Conduct capacity forecasting, trend analysis, and real-time diagnostics.
• Identify high-resource consumers and implement optimization strategies.
• Develop utilization reports and capacity recommendations for investments.
• Lead testing, production support, and on-call incident response.
