Based in Houston, TX, this role partners with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to evaluate mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures within the energy sector, ensuring rigorous analysis and disciplined deal execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, strategy consulting, private equity, or similar analytical role.
• Experience in energy, LNG, infrastructure, or capital-intensive industries.
• Clear written & verbal communication; attention to detail; ability to manage multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic investments.
• Perform valuation analyses using DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transaction methodologies.
• Analyze cash flow, returns, capital allocation, and downside scenarios to support investment decisions.
• Assist in the preparation of investment memos and materials for senior leadership.
• Support all phases of transaction execution, including due diligence, data room management, and coordination with internal and external advisors.
• Track transaction workstreams, timelines, and deliverables to support deal execution.
