Job summary

Caturus Management Services, LLC in Houston seeks an Analyst, Finance to join a small, high-visibility financing team responsible for arranging and executing project finance debt and construction equity. You will build and modify Excel models and support diligence and data room activities.

The role reports to the VP, Finance and involves financial modeling, monthly project reviews, and presenting findings to investors and lenders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or similar degree.
• 2+ years of demonstrated relevant experience in investment banking or project financing required
• Analytics and financial modeling skills
• Model debt, proforma projections, financial statements, and valuations in Excel
• Experience with financing and/or M&A transaction processes, including data rooms and memos
• Knowledge of energy industry and LNG sector preferred
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Create, modify and manipulate Excel models to inform leadership decisions and third-party presentations.
• Conduct monthly review and analysis of assigned projects to identify budgetary risks.
• Perform detailed financial analysis and cash flow modelling for projects.
• Review draft documentation and reports.
• Coordinate due diligence flows with lenders, bankers, lawyers, and technical teams.
• Summarize complex qualitative and financial information for investors, lenders and executives.
• Assist in identifying commercial considerations and contribute financial acumen.
• Analyze project data to produce standard and ad-hoc reports.
• Support FP&A, budgeting and forecasting to manage capital draws and liquidity.
