Job summary

Caturus, based in Houston, seeks a Manager, Corporate Development to drive strategic growth through rigorous financial analysis and transaction execution support. The role partners with senior leadership across Finance, Legal, and Operations to evaluate mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.

You will build financial models, perform valuations, and analyze cash flows to inform capital allocation and strategic investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, strategy consulting, private equity, or a similar analytical role.
• Experience in energy, LNG, infrastructure, or capital-intensive industries.
• Familiarity with M&A processes and transaction execution.
• Experience preparing materials for executive leadership or investment committees.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail and intellectual rigor.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic investments.
• Perform valuation analyses using DCF, comps, and precedent transactions.
• Analyze cash flow, returns, capital allocation, and downside scenarios for investments.
• Assist in preparing investment memos and materials for senior leadership.
• Support all phases of transaction execution, including due diligence and data room management.
• Assist with review and analysis of financial, commercial, and operational diligence materials.
• Track transaction workstreams, timelines, and deliverables to support deal execution.
