Commercial Metals Company (CMC) in Irving, TX, is seeking an experienced candidate for a Senior role in Corporate Strategy and M&A. You will support acquisition initiatives, develop value-creation plans, and lead cross-functional teams through due diligence.

You'll analyze markets, build long-range financial models, and collaborate with executives to shape inorganic growth strategies aligned with business objectives. The role requires travel and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in M&A advisory, corporate development, corporate strategy, management consulting, corporate finance, private equity or equivalent.
• Strong financial acumen with sales, operations and capital spend analysis.
• Excel expertise and ability to build long-range financial plans.
• Experience with valuation modeling techniques.
• Excellent communication with executives.
• Willingness to travel >50%.
• Authorized to work in the US; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Support the Corporate Strategy & Business Development team in M&A initiatives and portfolio optimization.
• Conduct market and competitive research.
• Collaborate on inorganic growth strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Own acquisition pipeline and target database.
• Coordinate deal sourcing with leaders.
• Develop deal value creation plans.
• Prepare investment committee memos for Executive Leadership Team.
• Lead cross-functional teams and interface with Sellers during due diligence.
• Perform valuation modeling and financial planning.
• Improve M&A and Integration Playbooks.
