Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is seeking a Finance/FP&A leader in Irving, TX to drive month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for manufacturing operations. You will build models, analyze profitability drivers, and provide insights to senior leaders to guide strategic decisions.

The role requires 5–7+ years in finance/accounting, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and experience with SOX. MBA/CPA/CMA preferred; travel up to 10% is possible.

Qualifications

• Strong month-end close leadership in a public company.
• Strategic thinking, analytics, and senior stakeholder influence.
• Experience building financial models, forecasts and dashboards.
• Understanding profitability drivers and cost control.
• Ability to communicate actionable insights to leadership.
• SOX/compliance experience and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close with accounting and finance leadership.
• Analyze results, explain drivers of revenue, gross margin, and cash flow.
• Prepare reporting packages, variance commentary, and balance sheet reviews.
• Explain financial performance to plant and corporate leadership.
• Document and monitor key internal controls per policy.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for manufacturing ops.
• Support integration activities for recently acquired companies.
• Partner with IT on system changes and financial reporting alignment.
• Collaborate with directors to align BU objectives with corporate goals.
