Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Strategic Transactions Lead to orchestrate accounting across every deal from post-LOI diligence through post-close audit. You will partner with Corporate Finance, Legal, and Operations to build scalable diligence playbooks and drive robust consolidation.

You will oversee Day 1 close readiness, valuation and allocations, and post-merger integration across multiple acquisitions in a fast-growing AI data environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years combined experience in technical accounting or deal advisory.
• 2+ years in-house financeops in high-growth tech environments.
• Proven track record leading end-to-end M&A accounting across multiple acquisitions.
• CPA license required and strong knowledge of ASC 805/606/718/820.
• Strong communication with executives, legal and auditors.

Responsibilities

• Direct post-LOI accounting due diligence and evaluate earnings, revenue recognition, cap table and tax positions.
• Oversee valuation, purchase price allocations and contingent consideration models.
• Lead end-to-end accounting integration and ensure Day 1 readiness.
• Govern deal governance, SOX controls and post-close reporting frameworks.
