Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced M&A Manager to lead acquisition and divestiture execution, due diligence, and integration planning. You will partner with business, finance, strategy, Legal, Tax, and Treasury to structure transactions and drive successful outcomes.

The role requires strong financial analysis, modeling, and exceptional communication across internal teams and external partners, with relocation assistance available for Columbus, OH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, preferred
• Strong financial analysis, modeling, and valuation skills with proficiency in analyzing complex financial data
• Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and assess new business opportunities
• Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external partners

Responsibilities

• Lead acquisition and divestiture due diligence process, valuation analysis, pre-closing integration / separation planning and closing processes
• Deal Strategy: work with business, finance, and strategy teams to develop a business case for each acquisition
• Due Diligence: identify and execute on critical due diligence items
• Financial Analysis: create detailed financial models and valuation analyses to assess the financial impact of potential transactions
• Deal Structuring: collaborate with Legal, Tax, Accounting, Finance and Treasury teams to structure transactions
• Deal Approval: support communications with Cardinal Health leadership and facilitate corporate approval
• Integration Planning: collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate integration timing
• Separation Planning: support development of separation plans for divestitures
• Compliance and Governance: ensure compliance with all legal and Cardinal Health requirements
