Cardinal Health, based in Dublin, Ohio, is seeking a Manager in Corporate Development to lead M&A deal execution, with relocation to Columbus, Ohio encouraged and relocation assistance available.

The role collaborates with external stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams to evaluate, structure, and close transactions, manage due diligence, modeling, and integration planning, and support executive leadership through the deal lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• 5+ years experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, preferred
• Strong financial analysis, modeling, and valuation skills with proficiency in analyzing complex financial data
• Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and assess new business opportunities
• Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external partners

Responsabilités

• Lead acquisition and divestiture due diligence process, valuation analysis, pre-closing integration / separation planning and closing processes
• Deal Strategy: develop a business case for acquisitions with competitive marketplace analysis
• Due Diligence: identify critical items affecting modeling assumptions and integration planning
• Financial Analysis: create financial models and valuation analyses to assess ROI
• Deal Structuring: structure transactions with Legal, Tax, Accounting, Finance and Treasury
• Deal Approval: support communications with Cardinal Health leadership and obtain corporate approvals
• Integration Planning: coordinate integration timing with cross-functional teams
• Separation Planning: develop separation plans for divestitures and transition services
• Compliance and Governance: ensure compliance with legal and governance standards
