Job summary
Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to support the development and execution of inorganic growth strategies across business units worldwide. You will build financial models, analyze industry dynamics, and assist with due diligence and integration planning under senior leadership guidance.
The role requires an undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or a technical field, plus 1+ years in M&A or strategic planning; MBA with relevant experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, science, or a technical field
- MBA with undergrad degree and 2+ years corporate development/M&A experience preferred
- Strong analytical and financial statement analysis skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
Responsibilities
- Support M&A strategy objectives and track acquisition opportunities
- Participate on teams evaluating and leading divestitures
- Develop financial models including valuation and pro forma analysis
- Assist due diligence and integration planning as needed
- Interact with senior executives in high-pressure settings
