Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to join the team at our Waltham, MA headquarters. The role supports inorganic growth strategies, financial modeling, and due diligence across divisions worldwide, with relocation if needed.

You will work with senior leaders, prepare valuation analyses, and help manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. A finance/economics/business background and M&A exposure are preferred.

Formación

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business or science/technical field.
• 1+ years in M&A or Strategic Planning in acquisitions, divestitures, JVs, or equivalent experience; MBA plus 2+ years ok.

Responsabilidades

• Support M&A strategy objectives including development and tracking of acquisition opportunities and all phases of transaction execution.
• Participate on teams evaluating M&A opportunities and leading divestitures.
• Develop and communicate strategic business justifications to obtain leadership support for M&A initiatives.
• Build and present financial models including valuation and pro forma M&A analysis.
• Assist with due diligence processes and with transaction execution.
• Support integration planning as required; assist with implementation.
• Perform industry and competitive research for senior leaders.
• Analyze industry dynamics and competitive landscape for valuation purposes.
• Analyze SEC filings, Wall Street research, and market reports.
• Support special projects aligned with Corporate Development goals.
