Job summary

eBay's Corporate Development Team is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to support sourcing, evaluating, and executing strategic acquisitions and investments. You will work closely with senior leaders to develop market insights, run valuation analyses, and coordinate due diligence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BA or BS undergraduate degree.
• At least two years of relevant work experience at a top-tier investment bank, corporate development team, private equity or venture capital firm.
• Problem solving, intellectual honesty, and ability to translate objectives into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare executive-ready presentations with strategic framing, analysis, and recommendations.
• Identify and evaluate potential acquisition or investment opportunities with business/product teams.
• Conduct rigorous valuation analyses using multiple methodologies and model integration cases.
• Quarter-back due diligence for potential targets and assess diligence results.
• Coordinate across Finance, Tax, Accounting, Legal, HR and other groups to drive deals to closure.
