Job summary

The Company in northern Nevada is seeking a Long-Range Planner for Mobile Equipment Maintenance to develop mid- and long-range plans for a 12-month rolling calendar and to coordinate daily with the Short-Range Planner, ensuring continuity of planned work across the mobile fleet.

The role reports to Mobile Maintenance leadership and requires 5+ years in open pit mobile maintenance planning, cross-functional collaboration, and a proven ability to improve KPI performance and schedule compliance.

Qualifications

Five (5+) years of documented experience in an open pit mobile equipment maintenance environment preferred.
Five (5+) years of documented experience as open pit mobile maintenance planner.
Proficient with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Knowledgeable in CMMS tools such as Oracle/EAM scheduling tools, SAP, JDE or similar systems; Xeras a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Short-Range Planners, Parts Coordinators, and Supervisors to prioritize work orders and schedules.
Manage the maintenance planning function to meet KPI targets.
Prepare a rolling 12-month forecast of PCR plans per equipment maintenance strategies.
Monitor work order history and optimize component change-out intervals.
