Sonoco Products Co. is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager in Hartsville, SC to lead day-to-day transportation activities and develop competitive strategies that reduce costs and improve service.

You will work with data teams to build KPI dashboards and guide cross-functional groups to higher performance. The role requires strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and the ability to travel 30% or more.

Competenze

• Minimum 7 years relevant experience in an OTM environment.
• Advanced analytical and finance skills.
• Excellent communication and influence skills.
• Travel 30% or more.

Mansioni

• Execute transportation strategy and carrier management to deliver best in class service.
• Manage day-to-day transportation operations including planning, tracking, executing, and lane performance analysis.
• Identify and implement cost savings initiatives focused on operational efficiencies.
• Work with data analysts to build KPI’s, dashboards, and provide visibility to cost drivers.
• Lead internal and cross-functional teams to improve operational performance.
• Communicate with mid to senior level managers regarding operations.
• Provide work direction and guide daily activities of assigned people.
• Be the subject matter expert for the Logistics team to the business.
• Develop and foster strategic relationships with suppliers and carriers.
• Improve internal processes and OTM processes to eliminate waste.
