Sonoco Products Company seeks a Logistics Operations Manager to lead day-to-day transportation activities, develop sound transportation strategies, and drive cost savings across the organization. You will partner with data teams to create KPI dashboards and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve dependability and efficiency.

The role requires 7+ years in OTM, a business or finance oriented background, and strong communication for senior stakeholder engagement.

Competenze

• Minimum 7 years relevant experience in an OTM environment.
• Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field; Masters preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and project/change management skills.

• Execute and align transportation strategy with business needs to deliver best-in-class service.
• Manage day-to-day transportation operations: planning, tracking, execution, lane performance analysis.
• Identify cost savings through operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with data analysts to build KPI dashboards and cost visibility.
• Lead cross-functional teams and communicate with mid/senior managers.
• Provide direction to staff within the department and develop supplier/carrier relationships.
• Improve internal processes and OTM workflows to reduce waste.
• Travel 30% or more as required.
