Sonoco Products Co. in Charlotte, NC seeks a Logistics Operations Manager to lead day-to-day transportation activities and establish sound transportation strategies that deliver competitive advantages.

You will manage planning, tracking, and carrier performance while driving cost savings and KPI visibility. The role requires 7+ years in an OTM environment, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams and travel as needed.

Competenze

• Minimum 7 years relevant experience in an OTM environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field; masters preferred.
• Strong analytical, financial, and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Execute transportation strategy and carrier management to deliver best-in-class service.
• Manage day-to-day transportation operations: planning, tracking, execution, and lane performance analysis.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives improving operational efficiencies.
• Work with data analysts to build KPIs and dashboards for cost visibility.
• Lead cross-functional teams to improve operational performance and report to management.
• Provide direction to assigned staff and act as logistics SME.
