Sonoco, a global packaging leader based in Hartsville, SC, is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day transportation activities, shape transportation strategies, and deliver best-in-class service while driving cost efficiency. You will collaborate with data teams to build KPIs and dashboards, manage carrier relationships, and lead cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years relevant experience in an OTM environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Strong analytical and finance skills; ability to translate data into actions.

Responsibilities

• Execute the transportation strategy and carrier management to deliver best-in-class service.
• Manage day-to-day transportation operations: planning, tracking, executing, and analysis.
• Identify and implement cost savings through operational efficiencies.
• Partner with data analysts to build KPIs, dashboards and cost visibility.
• Lead internal and cross-functional teams to improve performance.
• Communicate with mid to senior managers on operations.
• Provide work direction to assigned staff; act as logistics SME.
• Develop strategic relationships with suppliers and carriers; share data.
• Improve internal OTM processes to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
