Job summary

Syfan Logistics, Inc. is seeking a results-driven sales professional with transportation experience to develop and maintain customer relationships and to identify and close new opportunities in outsourced/managed transportation services.

The role involves coordinating with the VP of Business Development and collaborating with Operations Management to drive growth. The ideal candidate will leverage strong negotiation skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of the logistics

Qualifications

• Transportation experience and Book of Business required.
• Experience in identifying, generating, pursuing and closing new sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Identify, generate, pursue, and close new sales opportunities.
• Assess business opportunities and propose solutions through outsourced/managed transportation services.
• Apply sales techniques to close new business using industry and market understanding.
• Utilize multi-tier sales activities including calls, meetings, prospecting, qualifying, lead generation, and cold calls.
• Monitor and assist customer sales reps with new leads.
• Conduct regular cold calls to mine potential opportunities.
• Establish and grow new business opportunities.
• Quote customers on new lanes as requested.
• Conduct sales trips to visit customer prospects.
• Design and present sales presentations.
• Coordinate with the VP of Business Development.
• Collaborate with Operations Management to support sales operations.
