Job summary

Hackbarth Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager to lead warehouse, transportation, and home delivery operations. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, team development, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with the Logistics Terminal Manager to maximize productivity, control costs, and support overall facility success across multiple operations areas.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in transportation, logistics, warehouse, distribution, home delivery, or operations.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience with warehouse management and transportation systems.
• Experience managing hourly employees and/or with 3PL partners.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and respond outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient movement and processing of products.
• Oversee inbound receiving, warehouse processing, inventory flow, outbound loading, and overall facility organization.
• Ensure warehouse management systems and related equipment are used effectively.
• Maintain proper warehouse layout, product placement, organization, and housekeeping standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency; adjust workflows for seasonal needs.
• Coach and develop Supervisors and employees to meet operational and service goals.
• Manage relationships with transportation and delivery partners; monitor performance.
