Job summary

Paragon Leasing L.P. is seeking an Operations Manager responsible for direct oversight and influence over all logistics activity within a defined geographic market.

You will lead teams coordinating daily freight movements and provide ongoing analysis of trailer pools, outbound demand, on‑time performance, and billing to balance multiple needs while retaining personnel and customers. You will establish priorities, develop contingency plans, and negotiate capacity for new lanes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of applicable federal/state regulations and DOT regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel reporting functions.

Responsibilities

• Building a positive atmosphere by challenging others to achieve optimal business results
• Monitoring balance, capacity, and demand of loads and trucks
• Customer order management
• Monitoring outbound freight volume relative to customer‑awarded commitments
• Developing contingency plans to cover critical situations
• Assisting with generating new capacity through rate negotiations for unplanned new lanes and volume
• Regular and ad‑hoc reporting (P&L, revenue share, load counts, etc.)
