Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Manager (Transportation) for the 2nd shift in Brownstown, MI. This exempt salary role runs Monday–Friday from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am, with weekly pay and a 10% annual bonus.

You will manage salaried and hourly staff, oversee payroll, and report on account profitability while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. The position requires 3+ years in logistics, a HS diploma, and a Bachelor’s in Business or Logistics is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
• 3+ years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field.
• 2+ years of direct reports management.
• Strong knowledge of transportation/warehouse logistics operations and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage salaried and hourly staff performance and ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with senior management and customers to align on needs and expectations.
• Oversee payroll responsibilities for employees.
• Analyze weekly/monthly P&L and report financials to management.
• Handle accounts payable, vendor quotes, and customer invoicing.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
