Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred in related field.
• 2+ years of logistics/shipping experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with freight carriers and brokers preferred.
• ERP/TMS experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound freight, including LTL, FTL, parcel, and expedited shipments.
• Schedule carrier pickups and deliveries based on production schedules and shipping priorities.
• Communicate daily with carriers, freight brokers, suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
• Obtain freight quotes and assist with carrier selection based on cost and service.
• Track shipments and address delays or issues proactively.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation such as BOLs, packing lists, and labels.
• Verify shipping information for accuracy prior to shipment.
• Coordinate dock appointments and daily shipping/receiving schedules.
• Support other logistics activities with Shipping, Receiving, Inventory, and Purchasing.
