Job summary

Capstone Logistics, LLC is seeking a role to facilitate communication with vendors and customers, ensuring timely deliveries to meet customer requirements. The position reports directly to the Manager.

The role involves scheduling and dispatching vendors, handling On Demand work orders and PODs, and serving as the main point of contact for vendors within route territories. You will also support customer service and ensure proper documentation and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and problem solving skills.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel.
• Interpersonal skills; ability to foster teamwork and motivate/coach others.
• Accurately and quickly able to read maps.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch vendors or independent contractors to locations per customer requests using dispatch software.
• Input and distribute On Demand work orders, PODs, and manifests; prepare reports for management.
• Serve as a primary contact for vendors within route territories; inform them of traffic or hazards.
• Maintain accurate documentation on each job in the dispatch POD; ensure completion before clearance.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely courier service and notifying customers of delays.
